The Randburg Waterfront is much more than just a shopping mall. Originally built in 1996 it has recently been refurbished. Designed in the urban shopping space concept it will be renamed The Brightwater Commons. Instead of the cold glass and steel of most shopping complexes visiting The Randburg Waterfront is like stepping into a peaceful small town. It is a place to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life where you can relax and enjoy a leisurely shopping experience surrounded by trees, water and sunlight.

The Randburg Waterfront is ideal for a family outing, with plenty of activities to keep the whole family occupied. You can enjoy dinner with friends, shop in a tranquil environment, challenge your kids at the adventure games and visit the tented promotional court that can hold up to 40 exhibitors.

The natural grass area surrounded by a small stream and pleasant walking paths is an ideal place for an afternoon stroll or picnic; however, no food or beverages may be brought from home, only items bought from the tenants may be consumed. A performance stage is conveniently placed for the many musical events that take place.

The exceptional flea market is a treasure trove of trinkets and hidden delights with over 350 stalls.

Adults and children alike will be dazzled by the spectacular liquid fireworks created by the musical fountains. Over 1 000 nozzles creating amazing patterns, up to 30m high, making use of more than 300 000 watts of lighting which are all choreographed to music.

As the adults while away the hours in the numerous retail outlets, restaurants and pubs the children can enjoy the many exciting activities The Randburg Waterfront has to offer. There are merry-go-rounds, play parks and puppet shows for the little ones. On weekends the children can enjoy the exciting range of Gladiator Inflatables, market leaders in the kids inflatable and jumping castle industry.

A visit to Lets go Bowling at The Randburg Waterfront is a unique experience. A glow-in-the-dark concept, it is the only bowling centre in the country with a viewing window where you can see how the machinery works. This is a great venue for parties and corporate functions as it has its own restaurant and bar.

Adventure Golf, a mini golf game, is set in beautiful surroundings and is great fun for the whole family. Lazer Quest, similar to paintball, guarantees a good time for all and will keep you coming back for more. The state of the art Nu Metro cinema complex offers a wide selection of movies including the latest Hollywood blockbusters.

The many retail stores will cater to your every need, ranging from casual to elegant, African to European. Some of the services The Randburg Waterfront offers include: Banking, Decor & Furniture, Entertainment, Fashion & Sport, Gifts & Art, Health & Beauty, Specialty Stores, Supermarkets, Travel & Outdoor and Technology. There are over 50 Restaurants and Pubs.
