5 Day Sun City Golf & Safari (SAST-GP1)

5 Days at Sun City Resort including two Safaris.

The Sun City complex has something for everyone. This package includes 4 nights accommodation at one of the resorts hotels, golf on both the Lost City and Gary Player Golf Courses and two game drives in search of the Big Five, namely the lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo and elephant.

This package can be booked all inclusive or as a self drive option with flights between major centre's.

On arrival at Johannesburg International Airport you will be met by one of our representatives and assisted with your luggage. Follow the representative to the vehicle, where you will transfer to the Sun City Complex situated 2.5 hrs from Johannesburg. After checking into your hotel, spend the rest of the day exploring the resort.

If you are taking the self drive option then our representative will ensure that you have your own vehicle and show you the way out of town

After your round of golf you will have the opportunity to relax over lunch before boarding an open air vehicle for a game drive into the neighboring Pilanesberg Game Reserve.

Home to Africa's Big Five, Pilanesberg is an excellent game reserve for game viewing and it is very seldom that visitors to the park are disappointed. As well as the Big Five there are numerous plains animals as well as a fantastic bird population and plant kingdom. As the sun sets the bright lights of the vehicle will light up the animal's eyes as they set off in search for food.

An early morning wake up and departure for the Pilanesberg Game Reserve in time to catch the sounds of the animal kingdom as the day moves from darkness to dawn. The animals of the night slip back into their hiding places and the day time feeders start their search for food. Listen to the distinct difference as the night time birds become quiet and the chirps of the morning birdlife fill the air.

After Lunch: Tee off on the Gary Player Course

Enjoy the facilities on offer at this fantastic resort. Spend time at the Valley of the Waves or enjoy a wine-tasting at the Spier Winelands Shop. Alternatively take a tour of the Palace of the Lost City or interact with the elephants at the elephant enclosure.

Check out of your hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing at the hotel, soaking up the sun on the beach or catching up on that last minute shopping for family and friends at home.

In the late afternoon you will be transferred to the airport in time for your flight home, or if you are self driving then you will depart in time to reach your next destination.

All packages are subject to availability, however we are able to change golf course venues to similar courses in the area should they be fully booked.

This package is based on a minimum of two golfers, however we have various activities for non golfing partners who wish to travel with their partners in all areas. These include visiting a wellness centre, shopping excursions, sight seeing, historical tours or even relaxing on the beach or round the pool at your hotel.
