Honey Coastline

Honey Coastline

Over the past 5 - 10 years diving has become increasingly popular as a leisure sport. This global trend has extended to South Africa, particularly as some of the world's best dive sites are either within our borders or on our doorstep. As with many leisure sports diving takes up a substantial amount of personal time and more and more divers are looking for customised offering that suits their schedules. This, along with the increased need for personal attention positions Honey Coastline's business as very relevant in today's market.

Honey Coastline will offer that extra touch in convenience when it comes to training to suit personal preferences in terms of times and place of training. There is a definite market requirement for this as people in the Gauteng area, in Management or Executive positions and even housewives, find it difficult to attend a regular training schedule due to family and business constraints.

Travel at Honey Coastline will offer complete organisation from planning to enjoying the holiday to having holiday memories saved for you in the form of photos or DVD. The special extra personal touch will make Honey Coastline a first choice for travel. Honey Coastline offers an exciting innovative approach designed to meet your personal needs, family's needs and even friends' and associates' needs - a unique offer indeed!

Executive Open Water

Learn how to Scuba Dive in the comfort of your home, a training pool near you and at a time that most suits you. Specializing in One on One Training, however Family Groups or Groups of friends are welcome but no strangers are combined in the theory or confined water sections of this training. This training will allow you to dive to a maximum of 18m.

Honey Coastline's preference is that before you sign up to a PADI Open Water Scuba Diving Course you consult your local Diving Doctor to ensure that you are medically fit to learn to dive.

The Executive Scuba Diving Course will include a couple of hours self study at home together with the Open Water DVD before lectures begin. It is then necessary to set aside 5 hours for theory (incl. the exam) and another 5 hours for practical training in the pool. These time allocations are flexible as Honey Coastline's approach is to not rush any person in their personal needs to perfect their skills. 4 Open Water dives are then necessary. These dives can be split with 2 dives inland and 2 in the ocean or all 4 can be done in the ocean. The cost of the course includes your certification with PADI International, your training manuals and tables from PADI, the use of a BCD, Regulator and Cylinder for the duration of your course, Pool fees and all your tuition. Your personal equipment of a wetsuit, fins, mask, snorkel, weight belt and weights, and booties if needed are not included in the cost of the course but are necessary. Honey Coastline offers a wide range that is available to you if do not already have this equipment. Entry fees to local dive sites and/or your coastal trip costs are not included but need to be budgeted for.

Most divers start their diving career with a fear of the Shark due to the media. Sharks are the most magnificent creatures and an understanding of the species makes diving more comfortable.
