Fintastic Scuba Academy

Bud and Cathy - "Oom " and "Mother Hen", have kept the school and dive store on an even keel since 1989. Both are active enthusiastic instructors and with Bud takes cares of finance and operataions, whilst Cath's in charge of bookings, course schedules and travel planning. They teach from beginner to technical instructor and are possibly the friendliest and most informative instructors that you can ever hope to meet. Their graduates teach all over the world and two of them are Presidents of dive agencies.

Bud has expanded the 4x4 side that falls under Sunset equipment company and can help you with any of your 4x4 accessories that you might need. Fintastic all wheel dirve club is growing in member numbers and have frequent, affordable family weekends away.

Cath has ventured to do more travel and has joined forces with Thompon's Travel as well as Holiday Tours so for the best deal, Cath can get you sorted. Bud and Cath's store is open every day (unless it's Monday or they are away diving) so pop in for a chat or assistance on any selection or guidance on a scuba diving equipment or 4x4 equipment you may need. And let's not forget about Fuzzbucket. Snowy, a ka "Fuzz bucket" is Scuba Academy's resident mascot. Cath loves him more than life itself and it radiates from his feline body in his affectionate, almost trance like gestures. Fuzz bucket has a really "cute" face, an attribute which he uses to his advantage to dupe clients into offering him fish treat at the pub.

Entry level diver course

Includes

Imported Student Kit with Log Book and Dive Tables, use of BCSA soft gear (size dependent), use of wetsuit, mask, snorkel, booties, fins, weight belt, weights and dive bag. Buoyancy compensator, air system and cylinder, 4 pool sessions (with air fills), 1 skin dive and 5 scuba dives at Miracle waters, entrance fee to Miracle waters during the weekend.

Excludes

Medicals, transport, meals and refreshments.
