Kyalami Karting Circuit

Kyalami Karting Circuit provides an ideal venue for companies to entertain their clients and staff whilst also very busy with bachelor parities and arrive and drive customers The 850 m professional track is situated in the centre of the world famous Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit in Midrand and is Gauteng's Premier corporate karting facility They offer you the opportunity to drive 4 - stroke racing karts complete with slick tyres. The karts are fast and exhilarating to drive whilst reaching some impressive speeds. Karts and safety equipment (helmets) are provided whilst it is compulsory to wear long pants (preferably denim) and they recommend a long sleeve shirt and jacket. Also remember to wear appropriate shoes. Events can start anytime from 08h00 and can run till 22h00, KKC provide all catering and drinks.

The events begin with a drivers briefing covering all aspects of driving, safety and advice on the best lines, possible overtaking places and braking points to ensure you are competitive.. This will be followed up by each driver doing a few warm up laps, and then being added to the race roster so racing can begin. Each race would consist of between 5 and 15 karts.

Race formats will either be sprint or endurance races depending on the clients request and preference. Larger groups would be better suited to endurance type racing as would team building days.

All the races can be watched from our undercover terrace adjoining the bar or from the upper balcony, so whilst you are not racing you will be comfortable with a view of the entire track as you cheer your team on.

All competitors will also be required to sign indemnities before they will be allowed on the track Due to the size of the karts, drivers will need to be between the height of 1.5m and 1.9m tall and with a maximum weight of 105 kg.
