4 days exploring the Mpumalanga region. You will have a full day exploring Kruger National Park. Continue along the Panoramic Route to Blyde River Canyon, Three Rondavels, Bourke's Luck potholes, God's Window, and various waterfalls.
A night is spent in historic Sabie before returning to Joburg via Lone Creek waterfalls, Long Tom Pass, Lydenburg, Dullstroom and Witbank.
This is a great tour for the first time visitor to South Africa, or those with only a short time to spend in the region. It starts and ends in Joburg.
DAY 1 – TUE (JOHANNESBURG to KRUGER NATIONAL PARK)
Includes 2 game viewing activities. Travel east to spectacular scenic Mpumalanga, via Nelspruit, White River and Hazyview. Enter world famous Kruger National Park. Afternoon game viewing. Late afternoon drive to hotel near Park.
Relax before dinner and overnight at hotel.
DAY 2 – WED (KRUGER NATIONAL PARK to PRIVATE GAME LODGE)
Includes 2 game viewing activities. Early morning breakfast then depart for game drive inside Kruger Park. Lunch (for own account). Exit Kruger Park at Orpen Gate. Continue to private game lodge for afternoon tea and evening game drive in open safari vehicle. Return to lodge for typical eclectic dinner.
Overnight at lodge.
DAY 3 – THU (MPUMALANGA)
Early morning game drive in Kruger National Park. Optional open vehicle available (for own account). After breakfast travel the Panorama Route and explore Blyde River Canyon, Three Rondavels, Bourke’s Luck potholes, God's Window, and various waterfalls. Continue to historic town of Pilgrim’s Rest, Mac Mac waterfalls, and town of Sabie.
Overnight in Sabie.
DAY 4 – FRI (MPUMALANGA to JOHANNESBURG)
After hearty breakfast overlooking the Sabi River, depart via Lone Creek waterfalls, historic Long Tom Pass, Lydenburg, Dullstroom, Witbank, to Johannesburg where tour ends.
Passengers may disembark at Johannesburg International Airport, on request.
