Hi Guys,

We had a awsome stay in December and really enjoyed our stay. Staff are very friendly and the prices are really good.

We are coming back in December this year and this time we are bringing along my mom and her new husband where they will be sharing their honeymoon.

Thanks guys for the great time.

We spent a beautiful holiday in South Africa with expceptation the planned night (22.6.-23.6) in your Bela-Bela lodge.
We informed you before, that we will have a late arrival ca. 12p.m. because of the Worldcup match in Polokwane and you confirmed that this will be not a problem.

We tried also to reach you on the 22.6.2010 several times in the afternoon under the given Tel.Nr.
But nobody answered.

In the night your lodge was locked, no security, no key for us, nothing !!!
So we had to to sleep in the airport of joburg, because all other guesthouses were closed or fully booked.

Here we have to say, but management from your side and no service at all

Please send us immediately our deposit 400 SRand back with an explenation why your guesthouse was closed and the confirmation did not work.

when we arrived on friday the room was so dirty, there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. we complained on saturday and thereafter it was cleaned. the lodge is very beutiful, they got a nice place. They just need to look after it. And i think they should change their bed its also not in a good condition. I really want to emphasize that their place is nice its need to be cleaned

Facilities were clean and tidy.

Me and my fiance stayed at the Bela Bela Lodge for 3 night and i must admit it was very nice.we had a wonderful time and were very happy with the place,service and the prices.I would do it again.

Bela Bela Lodge was a lovely relaxing getaway location. It was reasonably priced, from the accommodation to the food and drinks and is definitely a place I’de be sure to visit again with friends and family.

We really enjoyed our stay there,we will come again next year.

We had booked a 6 sleeper cottage (D6) from 19th March and checked out on 22nd March.

The first night (Friday) was terrible due to very noisy neighbours (about 10 guys).

They were drinking from the afternoon and well into the early hours of the morning.

I tried calling the office number only to leave a message onto a diverted cell phone. I did this twice.

There were no security guards in site to control the loud hi-fi noise, abusive language, etc.

Finally, my family and I got to sleep after I confronted them and informed them about the rules of the resort.

On Saturday, these boys were not as noisy because they knew that they could be asked to leave without a refund.

I had informed Lizzy about the noise on Friday afternoon and again on Saturday.

I actually wanted a refund for the Friday night as it seems that I had to pay for my family and I to have a terrible nights’ sleep.

Apart from that incident, I really did enjoy my Sunday at your place.

It was only then that I began to appreciate the beauty and peacefulness of the resort.

Even the green waters of the large hot pool was relaxing.

Unfortunately, Monday morning came too soon and we had to check out.

I will definitely recommend this resort to other people.

But please, make sure that the people adhere to the rules and also that there is someone who answers the phone at all hours...it can be any emergency.

I do wish to return to Bela Bela lodge sometime again. It is not too far off from my home (Pretoria).

Please inform me of any special offers, etc that you might have.

We had a very enjoyable stay. I would definetly return again. Loved the fact that it is a little out of town, giving one the rest one needs.

The place is very nice and have a friendly environment. ROOMS: The room was fine but it can be improved especially the shower. we stayed there for 4 days but could not take a shower because of the state of the shower we had to use a basin to bath. Other than that, the room was fine, can be improved but it was fine. STAFF: the restaurant staff gives excellent service, we liked them a lot, all of them. KIOSK STAFF: have a bit of an attitude that can be fixed though, maybe with customer service. RECEPTION: the staff there is very helpful. Thank you so much for everything and yes we might visit again.

The staff were very friendly and more than helpful when needed. The place itself was well kept and the facilities were exceptional. Definitely a place i would not mind visiting again.

Enjoyed my stay with my family at Bela Bela Lodge - the only problem was that the music was extrememly loud at the bar area !!! and we had to move closer to the pool area to enjoy our drinks. The person playing the music said that "the other people did not mind" - this I cannot believe as we spoke to numerous people who said that the music can be loud but not that loud that you can't even talk !!! Very unpleasant. Other wise a lovely venue - enjoyed by all

I stayed at Bela Bela lodge and the experience was excellent. The chalets were in a very good condition, the kids enjoyed the activities.

We had such an enjoyable stay and will be coming back soon with some more family members.

The staff are very friendly and always willing to assist us. Food was also very good and reasonably priced.

Thank you again for a relaxing and wonderful stay.

Service was excellent , management as well as restaurant staff were very efficient.

We were told about plans of upgrading the self- catering rondavels - that would indeed make the place
much better.

I am so happy about bela bela lodge their service is excellent, staff members are friendly and their bedding is in a good condition big up Guys you doing a great job. I am planning to go back sometimes next year for easter.Halala bela bela lodge.
