Based in the greater Waterberg Biosphere, our malaria-free, over 1300h game farm is one of incredible natural beauty: from the Dwars River flowing through the valleys to the grasslands on the mountain tops, rocky koppies and terraced bushveld. There is an abundance of game as well as innumerable species of reptiles, birds, insects and plants. It is a nature-lovers paradise, combining an opportunity to view a variety of game, in breath-taking surrounds and the chance to relax in comfort at the end of the day.
We can accommodate a total of 10 guests in two separate venues, guaranteeing a peaceful and private stay. The Lodge overlooks an endless view of the unspoilt Waterberg, with two en-suite rooms in the building and a separate en-suite room nearby, sleeping six altogether. It has an open plan living/dining and kitchen area, fully equipped with stove, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, crockery and cutlery. There are braai facilities, a stoep from which to enjoy the view, and a rim-flow swimming pool.
The Bush Camp is comfortable yet rustic. Although within walking distance from the Lodge, it is also private and authentic with a magnificent view. It sleeps 4 guests in two rooms with shared bathroom. The outdoor lounge / dining area is open plan, with enclosed fully equipped (stove, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, crockery and cutlery) kitchen. Braai facilities include a braai-pit.
The lodge and camp are serviced daily. We provide linen, towels and a limited supply of firewood. Catering, game drives and laundry on request. Game species include blue wildebeest, impala, waterbuck, blesbuck, kudu, eland, bushbuck, gemsbok, red hartebeest, duiker, steenbuck, warthog, bushpig, zebra, jackals, baboons and monkeys. There have also been more unusual sightings of hyena, aardvark, aardwolf, serval, African python, honey badgers, leopard and vultures.
