Bigger than the city of Luxembourg, the Vaal Dam consists of a separate water system that is completely clean, and is supplied by the Vaal and Wilge Rivers. Attractions to explore are the Emerald Casino Resort, the town of Parys, which is known for its antique stores and art galleries, and the Vredefort Dam, which is a World Heritage Site. The Three Rivers shopping mall is 45 minutes away and promises to take care of all your shopping needs.

Heaven on Vaal is home to comfortable self-catering apartments, with accommodation consisting of en-suite bathrooms, an open plan lounge and well-appointed kitchen. Our four sleeper units have one bedroom with en suite bathroom and two single day beds in the living are while the seven sleeper apartment has two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. We also have a lovely Penthouse/Bridal unit with the best view and a spa bath.

Heaven on Vaal has a spectacular pool deck with the most heavenly views of the river. Treating yourself to a delicious breakfast on the deck while watching a stunning sunset is an incredibly special moment.

Just a stone's throw from Heaven on Vaal is the popular pub Candy's. It's a great social spot during winter as it has a wonderful fireplace and the Candy Boozeboat has become a popular outing as it takes guests on a slow cruise on the river.
