Lesheba Wilderness Game Farm is situated on the beautiful terrain of the western region of Soutpansberg Mountains in the northern province of South Africa. Visitors looking for a fantastic African holiday can experience a wonderful time amongst 335 kinds of trees and exotic birdlife such as black eagles, purple crested and Knysna louries and the rare Narina Trogon.
Mornings at the farm means being encompassed by water suspended in the air. Soak in the fresh mist emanating from the mountains and feel replenished inside and out.
We have 2 private bushcamps which can be set up as self or full catering accommodations from the Venda Village. Walking trails usually start from each camp.
The Venda Village is conceived by Noria Mabasa, an internationally-acclaimed Venda artist. It has a view of Duluni Valley and is a livable mosaic of her art. A lavish outdoor bathroom with sculpted figureheads with an awesome view, a thatched lapa with lounge, dining area and a complete kitchen are some of the amenities of this fantastic African accommodation that is capable of sleeping up to 8 persons.
Hamasha is another excellent accommodation. This thatched camp consists of four en-suite bedrooms that provide breathtaking vistas of Hamasha Gorge. A lounge and fireplace with lovely French doors leads onto an outside barbeque area. Tired after a strenuous but enjoyable hike? Then why not drench yourself with fresh water from one of the outdoor showers! Let Mother Nature cleanse you her way.
Large game includes white rhino, leopard, giraffe, zebra, sable brown hyena and numerous species of antelope. Smaller wildlife such as the red duiker, aardvark, pangolins, porcupines and civets are definitely not to be missed. Lesheba Wilderness Game Farm recommends exploring the facility on foot and walk with the majestic animals. A number of walking trails takes 2-5 hours trudging through wild bushes, plains and gorges where shimmering rock pools invites you take a dip during the summer.
WE DO NOT ACCOMMODATE CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 14 AT EITHER LESHEBA OR VENDA
