Having spent so much of my working life travelling and staying in hotels, I prefer to stay in a B&B whenever possible. 3 Melrose Road is probably the best I've stayed in. It scores highly for accommodation, cleanliness, facilities, location and comfort. However, most of all, it benefits from the personal attention of Caroline (the owner). She went far beyond the call of duty making sure everything was perfect for my stay. I will be staying there on every trip to Joburg from now on.
