Ferndale Manor Guest House

Ferndale Manor Guest House, situated in Ferndale Ridge, Randburg is one of the most conveniently situated guest houses in Johannesburg & within walking distance from Mnet/Multichoice Head Office, The Brightwater Commons, and Randburg CBD. We are 10min from Hyde Park, 12 min from Sandton, 5min from Cresta Shopping Centre, 10 min from the Randburg Magistrate Court and 40min from The Oliver Thambo Int. Airport, 2min from Christ Embassy and The Healing School. The Guest House is furthermore within close proximity of Bryanston, Nortchliff, The Sandton Medi Clinic, St. Stithians College & The Wanderers Cricket Stadium. The Guest House is situated approximately a 20 min drive from Ellis Park Stadium and a 35 min drive from Soccer City. A Virgin Active Gym as well as a selection of shops, including supermarkets and a variety of restaurants are within walking distance from Ferndale Manor.

Rooms

We have 14 very spacious, individually decorated en-suite bedrooms. (rooms average 20sqm). We furthermore have 4 furnished, fully equipped apartments available, where we serve a continental breakfast or guests can choose our self catering option. These apartments are also available for long term stay. Our selection of rooms and apartments, make it possible for us to meet your needs and budget!

Bedrooms have private entrances and French doors lead onto the garden. The bathrooms are very spacious and have showers and or baths. Rooms are decorated in a French-Provincial Style. Guests will experience total comfort and a good night's rest, sleeping on a Cloud 9 mattresses, with our 100% cotton bed sheets and angora blankets.

Self Catering Units:

Executive Self Catering Suites are available for guests. Suites sleep 3 or 6.

Our specialists ensure that the food is delicious, the décor breathtaking and the atmosphere magical, for you and your guests to enjoy....We specialize in both small and big weddings & events, from a cosy birthday party for 8, to a spectacular wedding for 60 guests.

Guests can relax, watch television, listen to music or socialize, in any of the entertainment areas. The swimming pool is an ideal place to relax during the warm summer months. Our well maintained garden offers a peaceful retreat for the weary traveler or businessman. The veranda outside, is a designated smoking area.

Food

Our breakfasts are prepared using the finest quality and where possible only organic ingredients. Our resident chef prepares mouth watering South African dishes.

Shuttle

We offer a shuttle service to and from airports and or any destination of your choice, including all of the Football Stadiums: Bloemfontein, Rustenburg, Nelspruit, Soccer City etc.

Day tours

We offer day tours to The Pilanesberg Nature Reserve, The Rhio & Lion Park, The Nelson Mandela Square etc.
