On the quiet outskirts of the lush and garden-like city of Pretoria, visitors will find the lovely Zambesi Lodge. Pretoria is a multicultural city blending a harmony of cultures and traditions among its shady streets and beautiful historic buildings. Although the Zambesi Lodge is located in a quiet northeastern suburb, it is located conveniently close to main routes and highways.

The rustic Zamesi lodge offers guests ten reasonably priced ranch-style rooms. The comfortable and secure rooms are equipped with en-suite bathrooms, dining and lounge rooms, fully equipped kitchens, tea and coffee making facilities, and television with DSTV and M Net.

Guests may enjoy our excellent wines and fine local cuisine, served to them on the patio or in the lapas. English and Continental breakfast are served daily and there are barbecue facilities available. Other meals can also be arranged, and guests can sample an exotic menu of giraffe, hippo, or crocodile.

The Zambesi Lodge provides guests many ammenities such as ample and secure covered parking, a courtesy bar, clear pool, lapas, braai facilities, and even tribal dancing (by arrangement.)

Zambesi Lodge is conveniently located to a variety of entertainment and shopping locations, including several casinos, cinemas, restaurants, bowling, ice rink, the Zambesi Waterfront. A pharmacy, private hospital, post office, the Wonderbroom Airport, and banks are also located just a few minutes drive away.

The friendly staff of the Zambesi Lodge can arrange tours for you to a variety of destinations. Guests can explore the wild flora and fauna of the region with trips to several game parks such as Lion camp, Cheetah Park, Rhino Park, and of course the majestic Kruger National Park. Tours to sample local culture can be arranged to see Zulu tribal dances in Ndebele and Lesedi villages, the gold Reef City Gold Mine and Cullinan Diamond mine, or the huge and bustling Bruma and Hartbeespoortdam flea markets. Other possible destinations include the Loopspruit Winery, Zoological Gardens, Pretoria Botanical Garens, Lost City, Sun City, and Waterworld. Staff can even arrange spectacular air trips over Pretoria and Johannesburg by plane, or even hot air balloon!
