Good Shepherd

Situated in President Park in the Midrand area of Johannesburg, the Good Shepherd is a guest house where you will feel part of the flock. There is no need to follow others around this quaint house, but there is a social vibe where small groups get to know each other over the reception counter or in the dining area.

The guest house is surrounded by a colourful garden with matured wild berry trees, herbs and ferns. There is a smell of lavender in the air constantly and it is not from the air freshener. These herbs dominate the garden along with lemon and naartjie trees. These trees supply dinner with the vegetable garden and guests eat fresh fruit and herbs daily with breakfast.

Five rooms with their own TV, DSTV, bar fridge, and study table and phone. Each room has a bathroom or shower for guests to freshen up in privacy.

There is a heated pool, braai facilities and a play area for children to keep everybody entertained. Nature lovers can walk around the garden and watch the activity in the fish and duck ponds.

There is no need to explore the area if you are in Midrand on business as the guest house caters for any functions. There are modern conference facilities in the guest house and meals can be arranged. During the breaks, employees can clear their minds with a walk around the garden in a safe and comfortable environment.
