Bakgatla Resort is located in Pilanesberg National Park which is situated on the eroded remains of an extinct alkaline volcanic crater, one of only three in the world. The park consists of many hills, wooden ravines and grassed open plains, making it a true gem.

Bakgatla Resort in Pilanesberg National Park offers guests varies types of accommodation. The chalets have one double bed in the main bedroom and three single beds in the loft area, a kitchen and a bathroom. The 5 executive safari tents are set on a wooden deck with a patio area allowing you to enjoy the view of the bush.

A minimum stay of two nights is required over weekends and Bakgatla Resort does not offer self catering anymore, although accommodation is in self catering units. The restaurant offers scrumptious breakfasts, lunches and dinners with fantastic service and a pleasant ambiance.

Bakgatla Resort in Pilanesberg National Park has fantastic hiking trails leaving in the early hours and driving deep into the park for an experienced guide, there are game drives all day long as well as night drives, balloon safaris, bush braai's, bush breakfasts and much more to keep you well entertained.
