Abigail's is a self-catering bed and breakfast establishment which takes pride in being able to provide the most comfortable facilities and accommodation at very reasonable daily rates.
Abigail's has been awarded three stars by the SA Tourism Grading Council and is A.A. Highly Recommended and was a finalist in the 2001 A.A. Accommodation awards.
Seven different units are available for accommodation at Abigail's, each with its own bathroom en suite and individual qualities that reveal character and charm. Names like Tartan Trout, Gull Cottage and The Singing Chameleon hint at the unique personality of each unit.
Situated in the quiet leafy suburb of Parkview, Abigail's has access to numerous facilities such as a swimming pool available for guests. As well as nearby tennis courts, golf, bowls and squash. Within walking distance is Parkview Village, a unique shopping centre that has retained the olde worlde charm of the suburb's early days while nevertheless still stocking almost every commodity one could wish to buy.
When travelling, one needs the homely warmth that Abigail’s can provide. Abigail's has aimed to provide interesting, artistically decorated interiors set in lovely secluded clusters of gardens. Abigail's boasts beautiful; relaxing gardens that help you forget about the hustle and bustle of the world while you enjoy Abigail's tranquillity and bird life.
There's even a huge old oak tree in the garden, likely to have been brought out from Ireland, as a sapling, in 1907 by Major O’Hara, who lived just around the corner in Killkenny Road, and who was responsible for naming all the Parkview streets.
