'A Room with a View' is situated in the heart of Melville, which has South Africa's largest concentration of cosmopolitan restaurants, scattered amongst an array of coffee shops, music venues, art and craft galleries and antique shops. Melville also has useful conveniences such as food stores, late night pharmacies, doctors and dentists rooms, a Post Office, Postnet and at least four banks.

'A Room with a View' offers accommodation in fourteen en-suite rooms each of which has a unique sense of style and design, some with their own conservatory, balcony and fireplace.

'A Room with a View' offers 4 Main Room. Suite 1 opens onto the main terrace (with good views) and includes a lovely conservatory. It has a King size bed and is en-suite with both bath and shower.

Suites 2 and 3 include the conservatory and have gas fireplaces, Queen size beds, en-suite bathrooms with both bath and shower and private balconies with good views.

The 2 Luxury Twin Rooms are all en-suite with big bathrooms with both bath and shower. They also have gas fireplaces and balconies with views.

The 4 Standard Rooms have French doors opening onto terraces or balconies. They boast Queen size beds and are en-suite with bath or shower.

There are 2 Budget Rooms with Queen size beds and en-suite bathrooms and 2 Budget Rooms with twin beds and en-suite bathrooms.

A Day Room with bathroom is available for early arrivals or late departures to accommodate international flights.

All suites and rooms at 'A Room with a View' are equipped with Hymax telephones, television (M-Net), bar fridges, tea and coffee trays, heaters, bath robes, hair dryers and alarm clocks.

Guests can arrange to use office facilities, fax, E-mail etc. A laundry service is available for guests' convenience. A Room with a View has secure, enclosed parking.

An air-conditioned Board Room is available for conferences of up to 12 people. Both English and Continental breakfasts, included in the tariff, are served in the dining room or on the verandah.
