Inn on Louis Trichardt is situated in a glorious garden setting, high in the Soutpansberg mountains that rise out of the Limpopo Valley in the Northern parts of South-Africa. The fact that it is next to N1 highway and 11 km from the town Louis Trichardt (Makhado) makes it perfect for travellers. It is only an hour's drive from the South-African / Zimbabwean border, two hours from the Kruger National Park and four hours from Johannesburg. Despite modern finishes it still preserves much of its original farmhouse atmosphere with its high pressed metal ceilings and molded cornices; its delightful dining area, two lounges, warm welcoming bar, conference room and veranda.

The reception area is highly coordinated in a country classic style with hints of gentlemen residence and upmarket qualities. High attention to detail in all areas; quality collectibles, quality framed antiques, signed prints and oils. It is is a comfortable, convenient overnight stop for north and south bound travelers or anyone wanting short-term breaks in the fresh mountain air. The on-site garden & curio shop sells curio items, various retail goods and teas. The shop is open between 8am and 5pm every day of the week. Conferences, weddings and other social occasions are catered for in the garden under the gazebo or in the conference room. The maximum total of persons catered for is 50, which ensures the best quality and service. There is also a Marquee Tent available for weddings, special occasions, or functions that can serve up to 300 people.
