My biggest complaint about this holiday is with Accommodation Direct - they assured us when we booked and paid in full in August/September that we would have 3 sites next to eachother. This was impossible for them to promise as it's a free for all when you get there with no organisation at all. People park their boats/cars on sites, it was not easy to find anywhere to camp. Surely, as all the campsites are numbered it would be easy enough to allocate sites on booking?

Otherwise, the ablutions were clean and everything else seem to be running smoothly.

23rd October Chalet 17
Chalet 17. OK for overnight only. Too cramped for 4 people, VERY hot and aircon in lounge didn't cool the bedrooms - no fans. Dustbin mess (baboons?) all over walkway and veranda to greet us on arrival, and wooden balustrade appears not to have been cleaned for months.
Otherwise well stocked. Seperate shower would have been nice.

Weekend breakaway
We camped at Loskopdam from 11 - 13 Feb 2011 and were surprised by the beautiful surroundings - and as a bonus on our first visit to Loskopdam, the dam was overrunning it's walls! Apparently the ablusion blocks are in process of upgrading and I found the block that we used neat and tidy. Unfortunately the shower heads and -drains still need some attention as the water sprays in all directions and after taking a shower, one stands in a dam of water, that is not nice. All and all, we enjoyed our stay and will visit again, thank you!

Loskopdam
Nice park, but finding a stand was very difficult. There were not enough power points for all the visitors. The stands should be allocated and marked.
The ablutions were good and kept very clean thank you!

Pleasant stay
Clean and cosy . Was there when the resort was not very busy.. I do not know how it will look like in peak season.

Paid in full before arrival
I payed for the two camp sites in full when the booking was done - as we arrived at Loskop we were advised that we had just paid the deposit and that half the money was still owed by me! I had to provide proof that the full amount was paid in January already! This was embarresing and luckely i had my laptop handy to provide proof, also with the reception being full of people and the attendants desputing that i had already paid!

Very Nice
It was very nice. It was our first time there, but not our last..

Thank you so much for sharing a peace of beauty with us.
From the gate to the house and back, the service was very good.

Our December holiday
Good day

We stayed at Loskop during the December holiday but was somehow dissapointed as the swimming pool area was in a hectic state after the day visitors th prev day. We couldnt swim as the pool was full of glas. The restaurant was never available when we wanted take away.
