On the banks of the Loskop Dam on the Olifants River, 48 kilometers north of Middelburg and 230 kilometers East of Johannesburg, lies this Resorts, surrounded by a Mountain range and nature reserve which is home to the white rhino, leopard, crocodile and hippo. Game viewing by boat reminiscent of the great lakes of Africa, makes this Resort unique. Be sure to keep an eye on our events calendar for the annual angling competitions and the well known Loskop Marathon Event taking place during April.

Accommodation:

Relax in accommodation comprising 40 charming log cabins, 18 chalets, 8 family houses and a 3 bedroom guest house. The caravan and camping park which stretches to the water's edge has 281 stands serviced by 7 neat ablution facilities.

Log Cabin SLD2 (15): kitchen/lounge. Loft with a double bed mattress (for kids from 6 - 14 years). Fully equipped kitchen with basic crockery, cutlery & cooking utensils for 4 people, stove with oven, microwave and a medium-sized fridge. Bathroom with: bath and basin, separate toilet. Bath towels for 4 people. Bed linen: (sheets, blankets, pillows) for 4 people. Air-conditioner, television and "braai" area. Maximum guests per cabin: For example 2 x adults & 2 x children.

Log Cabin SLD4 (25): 2 bedrooms with: 1 double bed in one bedroom and 2 single beds in 2nd bedroom. Open-plan kitchen/lounge. Loft with a double bed mattress (for kids from 6 - 14 years). Fully equipped kitchen with basic crockery, cutlery & cooking utensils for 6 people, stove with oven, microwave and a medium-sized fridge. Bathroom with: bath and basin, separate toilet. Bath towels for 6 people. Bed linen: (sheets, blankets, pillows) for 6 people. Air-conditioner, television and "braai" area. Maximum guests per cabin: For example 4 x adults & 2 x children.

Guest House SHD6 (8): 3 bedrooms: with a double bed in one bedroom and 2 single beds in 2nd & 3rd bedroom. Lounge and open plan dining room. Fully equipped kitchen with basic crockery, cutlery & cooking utensils for 6 people, stove with oven, microwave and a medium-sized fridge. Bathroom with a bath and basin, separate shower and separate toilet, bath towels for 6 people. Bed linen: sheets, blankets, pillows for 6 people. Air-conditioner, television and "braai" area. Maximum guests per house: For example 6 x adults.

Guest House TCS2 (18): Open plan room (bedroom, kitchen, lounge in one) in the shape of a "L" with 2 single beds and a non standard bed (for kids from 6 - 10 years) Fully equipped kitchen with basic crockery, cutlery & cooking utensils for 3 people, stove with oven, microwave and a medium-size fridge. Separate bathroom with shower only (no bath), basin and toilet. Bath towels for 3 people. Bed linen: (sheets, blankets, pillows) for 3 people. Air-conditioner, television and "braai" area. Maximum guests per chalet: For example 2 x adults & 1 x child.

Well-shaded caravan stands with green lawns stretch to the water edge and is serviced by 7 neat ablution blocks and a Laundromats. All the sites have power points and require a male caravan plug for use, which is available from the Shop. The Club Privé sites are reserved for the exclusive use of Club Privé Members and Holiday Club Members. We regret that no pre-allocation of site numbers can be done - all stands are allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Youth Hostel:

3 x Dormitories with 2 Teachers rooms per dormitory Teachers rooms - own shower & basin. 3 x showers, 3 x basins & 5 toilets in each dormitor.

Dormitory 2: (37+ 1 pax) 7 single beds & 15 bunker beds / 1 single bed in Teachers rooms.
Dormitory 3: (30 + 1 pax) 12 single beds & 9 bunker beds / 1 single bed in Teachers rooms.
Dormitory 4: (37 + 1 pax) 7 single beds & 15 bunker beds / 1 single bed in Teachers rooms.

No Kitchen facilities. No Television sets in Youth Hostel. No Air conditioners in Youth hostel. Braai drums, tables & chairs are available at an extra cost. Linen is provided - no towels. Meals are available from the Restaurant. Please book meals in advance.
