Letaba rest camp is the place to be! There are tame Bush bucks milling around the camp. An abundance of trees offer plenty of shade to relax in on those hot summer days. A new swimming pool has been built in the day visitor area, and the Elephant Hall is a must see. The Letaba river, and the surrounding dams, is an excellent place to spend a couple of hours viewing wildlife. A wealth of wildlife makes this an unforgettable experience.

Accommodation at Letaba rest camp:

Letaba Campsites (Letaba has 50 tent or caravan sites, with power point, communal ablutions and cooking facilities, maximum of 6 persons per site.)

Letaba Safari Tents (20 safari tents 2 and 4-bed permanent canvas tents with communal toilets and cooking facilities and own fridge.)

Letaba Bungalows (Letaba has 86 bungalows with 2 or 3-bed round rooms. Equipped with toilets, most with showers, but some with baths and some units with AC. Some units have both hotplates and sinks, some only have sinks. You have a choice of kitchenette or communal kitchen and with or without perimeter or riverside view.

Letaba Guest Cottages (10 Guest Cottages with 6 beds in 3 rooms, one with bathroom en-suite, two bathrooms in total, kitchen, lounge/dining area, large veranda and outside barbecue.)

Melville Guest House can sleep 9 in 3 rooms with 3 beds in each and has an exclusive riverside view.

Fish Eagle Guest House can sleep 8 in 4 rooms with 2 beds in each and has a bird hide and riverside view.

Both guest houses are fully equipped, with en-suite bathrooms, kitchen, lounge, dining room and television.

Activities around Letaba rest camp include game drives, bush breakfast, goldfields environmental education centre.

The Letaba Elephant Hall : covers elephant evolution, biology, behaviour, ecology and research. It also showcases the ivory of eight of Kruger's greatest tuskers, including 6 of the Magnificent 7.
