The stay was cut short by an unfortunate occurence. On the first night we were there, we were awoke at 3.30am by the owner and a security guard only to find my rear windscreen had been totaly demolished by vandles, for a want of more stronger language.
I was shocked as Kosmos is a "gated" community, and everybody signs in and out.But somebody decided to go on the rampage and smash car glasses to smitherines.
Mine was not the only car smashed that night.
Needless to say, we had to cut short our stay, return to Pretoria to fit a new glass, which cost R900.00.We did not return to stay a second night as paid for, for fear of them returning and doing it again.
I only have one suggestion for the owner of this establisment, please , please erect gates infront of your coverd parking, as it could happen again, they have done it once, they will return and do it again because it was too easy.
As for the cottage itself it is a very nice place to stay, very quiet, clean and everthing that is needed is there. We will go back, but please put up gates.
Yes the owner did re-emberuse us for the lost night, which was very good of him and I have thanked him for it.
Thank you
