Pigeons House

Glen Austin area was named after a Voortrekker who inherited this part of the Midrand area in the early 1900s and it is still dominated by morgen plots that gives residents about 2.2 acres per morgen.

These large plots are the perfect locations for weekend getaways, weddings and business conferences and Pigeons House is the perfect place for any of these functions.

This spacious house contains five en-suite bedrooms with a communal dining room, kitchen, lounge and recreational area. The double or single rooms have a television, but staying in is not recommended with the bar, garden, dining room and entertainment area in close proximity to the rooms. The undercover braai area with pool table provides entertainment for the whole family.

Team building, business meetings, weddings, birthday celebrations, engagement parties and educational workshops take place in the conference rooms. Two large rooms with bathrooms, bar, conference equipment, braai area and boma are always popular as they can house about 80 guests. The venue caters for functions and the conference facilities contain a projector and screen.

Situated just seven kilometres from Grand Central Airport and eights kilometres from Carlswald Shopping Centre or Gallagher Estate, The Pigeons House is close to all the Midrand sites and guests can travel quickly around the area to get to the next business meeting or they could just stay another night.
