Crocodile Lodge

Named after the seventeen resident crocodiles, this lodge caters for anybody who wants to relax in the tranquil surroundings in Midrand which is half an hour's drive from Johannesburg's main airport. This lodge has something to offer everybody and there is even a curio shop to take home souvenirs!

There are temporary suites and studios as well as apartments on offer at this lodge. The four studios have an en-suite shower with a television, bar fridge, overhead fan and underfloor heating. The six modern self catering double bed executive suites have the same features as the studios with a kitchenette and en-suite bathroom for extra convenience. The one bedroom apartment is about 30 m? and the two bedroom Apartment is about 74 m? with modern furniture, kitchen, bathroom, lounge and a private entrance.

Regardless of the type of accommodation you choose, there is a complimentary continental breakfast that gets served each morning. In addition to breakfast, guests are offered daily newspapers, laundry service and transfers on request to make their stay more enjoyable. Meals and snacks can be enjoyed around the pool, in the breakfast area or next to the koi water features. The outside dining area "boma" serves light meals or a braai and guests can swim in the pool before dining. Many evenings are spent sipping drinks and watching bird life, exotic ducks, geese and swans.

Extra service includes a professional hairdresser, car rental service and a curio shop stacked with African art and semi precious stones. If guests want to travel and see the surrounds, a variety of day trips can be arranged by the staff at the Crocodile Lodge.
