Pumula, which means relax, was purchased in January 2002 by the Jordaan family. It is registered in the name of Adaptable Farming CC, and Aart and Jacques are the members. It is run by Kevin & Guilletta on behalf of their two minor sons.
"I was getting very frustrated with city life and crime at the time," explains Kevin. "We took a weekend trip to the Eastern Free State and the attraction was so strong that within two weeks we concluded the purchase."
Take a trip to Clarens to explore the art galleries and experience the many pubs and restaurants. Another site to see is the Basotho Cultural Village, which is about an hour drive from us, through the Golden Gate National Park. There is an accompanied tour through an example of a typical Basotho village. On-site is a small curio and local art shop. On the way back, stop at Golden Gate for scenery and walks.
