Prior Grange Guest Farm

When next you are traveling on the N1 in the Southern Free State, why not stop over and discover old fashioned hospitality on the historical working farm, Prior Grange. We are conveniently situated between Gauteng, Limpopo, KZN and the Cape Coast - from Port Alfred to Cape Town. Prior Grange has been in the family since 1854 and the present owners, Blackie and Sheryl de Swardt invite you to experience the heritage of the farm and enjoy their Karoo hospitality.

Guests staying at Prior Grange are accommodated in five cottages situated in the garden. The cottages are private and each has its own style and outside sitting area. The numerous farm activities are bound to keep the keen visitor entertained for days on end. There are historical trails pertaining to an important part of Boer culture and tradition not to mention the archeological trail available. Children under twelve years of age pay half price on all rates.
