Bokpost Guest Farm is situated midway between Johannesburg and Cape Town in a central location in South Africa, and is an absolutely safe, malaria-free zone. Bokpost Guest Farm is only 21 km from the N1 road, and 20 km from Philippolis. Bokpost Guest Farm rests within the scenic beauty of the Orange River area, approximately 180 km south of Bloemfontein. With the N1 and 717 roads that lead to the farm being tarred (except for the last 20 km, a typical South African dirt road), the farm is very easily accessible. Also strategically located is a tarred airstrip, just 28 km from the farm.

At Bokpost Farm, which holds an annual production auction, rearing of Merino sheep is the primary activity. Other developing industries on the farm consist of game, vegetables and a flourishing olive grove. The farm, which follows organic farming, is over a century old.
