Ravineside Lodge

Located under the shadow of Entabeni Mountain, this thatched wooden lodge, built on stilts and hugging the cliff edge, offers spectacular views of unspoilt ravines and wooded hillsides. Guests can take advantage of the observatory and listen to a professional astronomer explain the mystery and vast beauty of the southern night sky.

Ravineside Lodge has undeniable appeal and a character of its own. Ravineside Lodge comprises tranquil thatched wooden lodges on stilts with bird's eye-views. Each lodge has 3 or 4 luxury en suite bedrooms with an African ethnic theme. A private open-plan lounge and bar area extends to the open sundecks. From here the guests can indulge in bird and game watching and experience the beauty of the ravine with the rippling sound of water far down in the valley.

Location

Ravineside Lodge is situated on the upper escarpment of the 22 000 ha Entabeni Safari Conservancy in the malaria-free Waterberg region of Limpopo Province overlooking the gorge.

Under the extending shadow of Entabeni Rock, you will find open grasslands surrounded by majestic mountains, natural rock formations and verdant bush. There is an abundance of waterfalls, springs, crystal clear mountain pools and streams. Entabeni offers not only guided walks and game drives but also bush picnics and dinners enjoyed in magical surroundings and bush venues, especially at Boekenhout and the breathtaking Hanglip view point.
