Part of the Dinokeng development currently underway in the area, Hotel Mongena combines the rich cultural and historical heritage of the areas' different cultures in an expansive game reserve which currently boasts 3 of the Big Six - leopard, rhino and hippo - with lion, elephant and buffalo to follow soon - establishing Dinokeng as a premier tourist destination in the not too distant future. Hotel Mongena can accommodate 66 GUESTS in 26 comfortable en suite lodge style rooms surrounded by expansive gardens and lovely indigenous trees, while our well-equipped conference centre can accommodate up to 120 delegates, cinema-style. Various team-building and relaxation activities can be arranged if required.

Book a relaxing game drive with our friendly receptionists and be exposed to the absolute beauty of the bushveld. The reserve spans 600 Hectares of bushveld with the Pienaars River, as well as the Boekenhoutspruit, running through the reserve. Hotel Mongena's Nyati Restaurant offers an exciting and truly inviting a la carte or buffet menu, depending on the amount of GUESTS. Open for breakfast (from 07h00 to 10h00), lunch (from 12h30 to 15h00) and dinner (from 18h30 until 22h00).

The lounge offers comfortable seating, perfect to sip a drink and just relax. The Nala Bar, open daily from 10h00 until late, is the perfect place to round off the day's sightseeing, activities or game drive, or simply just to relax and enjoy the sunset with an aperitif before dinner.
