PEARL GAVE AN EXCELLENT FRENDLY SERV AT TREMISANA LODGE.
THABU THE DRIVA FROM JHB TO DELLSTROOM WAS EXCELLENT .PITTY FOR COPS TRYING TO BRIBE HIM BUT THE COPS DID NOT COME RIGHT AND HE HANDELD IT PROFESSIONALY. MARCS TREE HOUSE FLORENCE WAS PLEASENT & FRENDLY,BUT THE FOOD COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER.DAN THE DRIVER WAS ALSO FRENDLY.

I stayed in the treehouse and this made the experience so surreal! You really get a sense of adventure when you hear the monkeys in the tree at night or peeking into your room as you wake up. I went in Winter, so mosquitoes/insects weren't a problem at all, it's just really cold.

I got picked up from my hotel in Johannesburg a bit late (1.5hours late) and I didn't have anyone to contact. I got through to voicemail on the urgent queries telephone number which didn't put me at ease with whether someone was coming to fetch me or not.

The food was plentiful each day. I felt like I ate too much - they provide soups, mains and desserts and there is a bar to buy drinks from too.

6 days is definitely a good length to stay, especially if you're an animal lover like myself. The people I met whilst on the safari stayed for 4-5 days on average - you just miss out of patting wild but people-friendly cheetahs! amazing stuff. :)

Our trip was amazing and we all had a great time! The one exception was our day #5. We were supposed to do a trip to the endangered species center, an African village and then I believe one more sunset drive.
However, they sent us to Kruger for a 3rd day and told us "The Endangered Species Center was now closed to the public, the African village was not 'worth our time', and that the Internet listings are typically wrong".

We had a great third day in Kruger, however I don't feel they were being honest with us and that they were doing what was most convenient for them. The advertised day 5 was part of the reason we picked this trip.

I would still highly recommend this trip to anyone who asks, but would be interested to know what went wrong with day #5.

Marc's Treehouse Camp was a REAL african experience. Food was FANTASTIC and accommodation great but come prepared for a real African experience because its not inner city living.
We would definitely return and recommend this to our friends.

Fun tour, more or less comfortable accommodations. Lack of care when accident happens. Very flexible timetable

We had a great time in Marc's Treehouse Lodge, it was really exiting to live in a treehouse in the bush surrounded by wild animals...and the amazing sounds in the night ! Very friendly staff, good food, relaxed atmosphere. Well organised, including trips to rehab centers. Highly recommended !
